Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department of Communications Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Afanin Anwar Abboud
A number of the department’s members participated in the training workshop held by the American University on the sustainability of institutional accreditation standards in universities, where the department was represented by the Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, Eng. Dr. Mustafa Ghanem, the Head of the Accreditation Unit, Eng. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Razzaq, and the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Eng. M. Ayman Naseer.

The Department of Communications Engineering organizes a discussion session on the mechanism for calculating allowances and promotions
Within the activities of the cultural and scientific season of the department for the year 2024-2025 and under the direct supervision of the respected Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Afanin Anwar Abboud
The Department of Communications Engineering organized a discussion session entitled "The mechanism for calculating allowances and promotions" delivered by Assistant Professor Nisreen Najm Abdul Wahid, in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Ali Jabbar Salem, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Hussam Hussein Ali, the Head of the Optical Communications Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Diaa Hassib, the Head of the Wireless Communications Branch, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Mari, and a large number of professors and members of the department.
The discussion session went on to discuss employee rights, including annual bonus and promotion, in addition to promotion conditions and cases of delay in granting bonus and promotion, with promotion procedures and some administrative matters in this topic and the laws related to it. At the end of the lecture, some questions were posed to the lecturer and they were answered and benefited from.
