Visit of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, Department of Communications Engineering, to inspect the progress of the final exams 2023-2024

The Administrative Assistant, Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, accompanied by the Head of the Communications Engineering Department, Dr. Afaneen Anwar Abboud, inspected the conduct of the final exams in the Department of Communications Engineering at the University of Technology for the academic year 2023/2024.
They reviewed the examination procedures, the nature of the questions, and their comprehensiveness of the academic subject, as well as providing all the capabilities and requirements for the success of the examination process.

The Head of the Communications Engineering Department confirmed during the meeting that the subject of the preparations necessary to perform the final exams for the current academic year 2023-2024 was addressed, including preparing the exam halls, organizing the work of the central, sub- and auditing exam committees, organizing the presence of the observers, providing all the appropriate atmosphere for the students, and the necessity of adhering to all exam instructions and controls.

Final exams for the first round

The final exams for communications engineering students, first round, for the academic year 2023-2024 have begun, and the department’s students for all stages participate in these exams.

The head of the department also inspected the examination halls and was informed of the mechanism of conducting examinations, the level of difficulty of the questions, and the extent to which an exemplary environment is provided as much as possible for students to take the examinations with great comfort. The tour also included a visit to a number of examination committees and halls for correcting examination books, where the great efforts made by the examination committees during the course were praised. this period of time.

At the end of the tour, the head of the department expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the great efforts being made by the branch heads, the members of the examination committees, and the rest to serve the scientific process and our students, emphasizing on overcoming all obstacles, wishing continued success to the students of the Communications Engineering Department in performing their exams successfully and with distinction.

scientific visit to Zain Iraq

Some of the professors and students of the fourth stage, Optical Communications Systems Engineering Branch, in the Communications Engineering Department, made a scientific visit to Zain Iraq Telecommunications Company. The visit witnessed a meeting with some of the engineers working in the company to learn about the nature of the work of a communications engineer and the challenges they face in the labor market.
The teaching staff, represented by Dr. Mustafa Ghanem, Dr. Mustafa Sami, assist lect. Ahmed Hamza, Assist lect. Ayman Nusair, and the students, were received by Mr. Ali Makki Hussein, who is responsible for entrepreneurship in the company, and Mr. Sarmad Saad Ali, head of the geographical marketing unit.
The tour also included a visit to the company's NOC department to enable the students to see the practical side of the work of a communications engineer and to give the students an idea of the places in which they can advance in the labor market in the future.
